Our Wedding

Our Story

We met freshman year at Skidmore College through mutual friends on the club Quidditch team and became inseparable by sophomore year. Slowly we spent countless nights studying, laughing, and figuring out college life together as best friends. After months of this, we finally realized this was something more special. Our first date in Saratoga Springs in December of 2018 marked the start of an incredible journey. Since then, we’ve shared so many milestones—from college graduation and first jobs to adopting our cats (Bisc and Stu) and building a life together in Arlington. Andrew proposed in September 2025 at one of our favorite local parks, a place that’s seen many walks and memories over the years. It was also our last weekend before moving out of the neighborhood where we shared our first apartment together. Since our time as a couple, we’ve discovered new passions, from hiking and National Park adventures to running races, and seen each other grow into amazing versions of ourselves. Our story began with friendship and has grown into a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.

Our wedding will be formal in style, with an outdoor ceremony in October followed by an indoor reception.Think elevated evening attire—gowns, refined cocktail or midi dresses, and suits.As the ceremony will be outdoors, we recommend planning for cooler evening temperatures and bringing a jacket or wrap. Most importantly, choose something that feels polished, comfortable, and unmistakably you as you celebrate with us.

Dress Code

We have several discounted hotel room blocks near the venue available to wedding guests. All are within 2.5 miles of the venue and along public transit bus routes that will get you there and back within 20 minutes.The Mansion at Strathmore is along the metro line and can be accessed without a vehicle from anywhere in the metropolitan area.Metro hours:Monday - Thursday 5 a.m. - 12 a.m.Friday 5 a.m. - 2 a.m.Saturday 6 a.m. - 2 a.m.Sunday 6 a.m. - 12 a.m.
